The Application

The National Theatre is comprised of a 176,000 square foot premises in Central London, with a large underground car park beneath it.
IGD’s products are designed to make installation and upgrades quick and easy. We began by installing 25 SafePark Detectors across the application to monitor for CO. The Detectors provide accurate, low-level monitoring for this toxic gas, and their ten-year lifespan makes them the longest-lasting detectors on the market. This not only saves you money by providing the low-level detection needed to accurately vary your ventilation but also by reducing maintenance costs.
The SafePark Detectors were split across two zones in the car park, each of which was being controlled by one of our SafePark Control Panels. Our 2-Wire Addressable systems run on a single 2-core no-polarity cable which makes installation and upgrades as simple as possible. Our addressable systems allow you to link detectors across an application in series. All of this means huge savings on installations and upgrades.

The SafePark Controller is the best suited to updates for existing systems and offers complete control of every element of your gas detection setup on our 2-Wire Addressable system, providing you with digital readings through our Wi-Fi interface. The Controller is compact and fits onto a DIN rail to save on space and comes in both a single port and a 6-port version.
The SafePark Control Panel is best suited to end users in need of our full turnkey service. It’s an alternative to the SafePark Controller that boasts all the same features and more. The Control Panel comes in its own custom housing with a 2×8 RGB colour change display, jog wheel, 1-Click setup, and the ability to backup any customised settings using our Wi-Fi interface.
