Battery Backup Modules
New Battery backup units now available from IGD
Many IGD control panels have battery backup capability built in. Where longer running periods are required on battery power, larger batteries are required which usually can’t be built into the controller. Two new models are offered, one with a 7AH battery and 150W Power supply. The second larger unit has a 300W power supply and 17AH battery capacity. In both cases when ordered with a control panel then the control panel needs to be a DC powered version as the battery backup modules includes the mains power supply.
These new models use the very latest technology to control charge state, manage the batteries and the change over from mains power to battery power and back again. Interfaces are included for remote signalling on change of power state. Each unit has an integral LCD display which clearly shows which power source the system is running from and the battery charge state. Click here for more information.
