IGD were delighted to be invited to take part in this year’s trade show. Our Marketing Manager Hal Collier was on hand to field questions, and praise, for the X5 with the help of our friends and partners at Bieler+Lang.
What is ACHEMA?
ACHEMA is a leading international trade show for the process industries, focusing on chemical engineering biotechnology, and environmental protection. Held every three years in Frankfurt, it attracts thousands of exhibitors and visitors from around the world. IGD’s stand was located in the instrumentation and safety wing where we teamed up with our sister company, Bieler+Lang to represent the larger Safe Monitoring Group, and showcase all of our most cutting-edge offerings.
Over 5 days at ACHEMA, the vast majority of our time was spent fielding questions about our ATEX-certified Dual Gas Detector-Transmitter, The TOC-903-X5. To say that our flagship Detector-Transmitter created a buzz at this year’s show would be an understatement, but it’s easy to understand why it quickly became the talk of the town, and exactly why we call it “The World’s Most Versatile Gas Detector.” Let’s take a closer look at Frankfurt’s favourite Gas Detector.

- Approved for ATEX Zones 1&2 (Gas) and Zone 21&22 (Dust) to offer ultimate protection in harsh environments.
- Use our magnetic wand to perform non-intrusive one-person calibrations removing the need for a hot works permit. (UKCA, ATEX and IECEX certified.)
SIMPLE AND CLEAR ALERTS
- A built-in 2×8 LED Screen provides At-a-Glance digital gas readings and changes colour to provide clear alerts.
- A green smile means all is well, a red frown indicates a hazard, and an orange frown indicates a fault.
